  • 1 c. wild rice, rinsed
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. diced carrots
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 2 strips smoked bacon, diced
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • Toasted almonds
  • 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1/4 c. sherry
