You can hunt seven days a week at Rocky Mountain Roosters, and have a choice of two 3 hour hunts. You can hunt the morning from 8 am to 11 am, or the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm. Each time you make reservations to hunt, you can shoot a minimum of five birds, either sex, any of the species. Special chukar or quail only hunts are available too. Guides and dogs are included in the hunt at no charge.

You will be hunting on the majestic confluence of the East and West Bijou Creeks. The cover is native Colorado grassland, dry creek bottoms, and mature cottonwoods. Pheasants and Bob White Quail are native to this part of Colorado and thanks to aggressive land management and very careful species management we have successful hatches year after year. We also manage and sustain populations of Chukar and Hungarian Partridge.

Private and permitted lands totaling over 200 square miles, wing shooters have an almost endless array of hunting lands to choose from. Each hunter is entitled to normally harvest up to 10 birds daily. Additional birds are available for a nominal fee. No license needed.
