Rocky Mountain Roosters is a private pheasant hunting facility 30 miles east of Colorado Springs or just about an hour southeast of Denver. Since 1985, RMR has been offering the best pheasant, chukar and quail hunting in Colorado. Dogs and guides are provided at no charge or for the hunter that has their own dog, this is the best palce to hunt and train in the west. Hunts are by reservation only. Pheasant hunts of released birds start at $165 per person for 6 pheasants or $200 for 8 pheasants, no extra charge for any residual birds found. No membership fee. Great Grassland hunting. The ranch is over 1000 acres. We only hunt one group per day (size can be 1-6 people), so you have all day to hunt at your pace. We allow bird hunters to shoot prarie dogs, so you can bird hunt in the morning and sharpen your rifle skills in the afternoon.
