Dec. 21, 2010Minnesota's Gubernatorial elect Mark Dayton is on the record with the West Central Tribune newspaper, pledging the Montevideo, Minnesota area will be the site of the state's first ever Governor's pheasant opener.

Pheasant hunters and conservationists have formed a new Pheasants Forever chapter in Hendricks, Minnesota. Known as the Hendricks Chapter of Pheasants Forever, the new group has identified supporting Minnesota's Build a Wildlife Area campaign as its top priority, and looks to create new public hunting and outdoor recreation areas in Lincoln County.

Youth Can Get Rush of the Flush With Experienced Pheasants Forever Mentor - Aug. 12, 2009
Pheasants Forever and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) remind Minnesota youth that they have until Monday, August 24th to submit their applications to participate in the Mentored Youth Pheasants Forever Hunt this autumn. The hunts, which will take place on Saturday, October 24th over much of the southern two-thirds of the state, provide an opportunity for youth and an accompanying adult to have a safe and enjoyable first pheasant hunting experience.
