    Default Help Identifying A Shell

I have a 12 gauge shell I am trying to Identify. At the bottom of the head it says Made In USA. On the top it says 12 Ga. Between the 12 and Ga there is what appears to be a small duck. Around the body of the shell, it is stamped 4 several times. The case color is maroon.

Sears and Montgomery Wards and other retailers had shells made for them so it could be one of those. Are they paper or plastic?

They are plastic. Guys on another forum identified them as Federals and possibly short magnums.

If I were to guess I would say they are indeed federals
