Just a very few spots able to harvest now according to locals I talk to. But then again 10-30% in some areas was never planted in the first place so there will still be open ground come opener. Just 9% of beans are at leaf drop stage where harvesting starts soon after that as many were planted late. Expect most areas to keep their beans in longer this year as the late rains and warmth mean more volume to the beans if they let them go longer.

In laws farm South of Aberdeen. They said they'll be lucky to be getting beans out by the first week of October. This was last week before we got another batch of rain.

Beans are still quite green, just starting to turn yellow. Harvest is a ways off.
