    I did some duck hunting on the Laguna Madre in South Texas. You cold see rust forming !! Started using Corrosionx spray. I'm totally sold. Kinda messy tho.

    +1 That's all I've ever done and never had a problem with rust. Just make sure that where ever they are stored it's in a fairly dry location. Never store them in a gun case.

    I clean my guns after each range visit or hunting trip. I keep a very light coat of gun oil on them. Been doing it this way for 30+ yrs and never had any rust issues.
    Store your guns in a dry place. If your safe, storage locker or storage area is located in a damp area, your gun will rust from the moisture. A dehumidifiers will help with damp areas. I don't like to store guns in gun case.

    I have been using the Lucas extreme duty gun oil since it came out with great success
