    Default Chukar/Huns near Cody in late December?

    Hi everyone, we are in the process of booking a cabin for Christmas week and I was looking at a few in the Cody area. I see that Chukar and Hun season is still open and was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is good public land in the area and if it would be worth hunting them in late December? I will be coming tom Texas.

    Either there or near Sheridan.

    I don't know about the cody, but sheridan area should have both huns and chuckars. Pheasant are there too. Js Driggs may know about the cody area.

    I think pheasant season is over by then. Only thing open is Chukar and huns as far as I know.
