Thanks guys, but I have not done nearly enough. I critique my habitat after a blizzard, but this year I was critiquing my habitat during the drought and certainly had a very helpless feeling and, unfortunately the feelings were real. I did pick up quite a few ideas at Pheasant Fest that I will be reviewing with the biologists on the ground to see if it will work here. Another group of biologists at the Byrd Ranch on Monday to do the work up for the Lesser Prairie Chicken Initiative. Lots to do for the chicken. Starting with a new canvas and will see what we can paint on it.

    Mr. Byrd,

First a quick hello. Thanks for your work for the birds, and some nice bucks, too. Remember, there are some cutthroats waiting over here.

You saw my place in a much better day. It was tough watching it this past year and able to do nothing. I hope to return it to glory days, but it is going to take some time, effort and dollars.

Yes, I do need to get an education on those cutts. Thanks

probably homemade is the best way to go, google guzzlers for suggestions.......could you tell if using them provided any real benefit?
lots of pros and cons on their usefulness, doesn't sound like PF advocates using them?

I am from Utah and have installed a couple of guzzlers, they were very beneficial in the desert! I could put you guys in touch with some of the guys that are responsible for many of them in Utah if you would like?
