Wisconsin Pheasants Forever State Convention at Wilderness Resort

Pheasants Forever will hold its annual Wisconsin State Convention on Saturday, January 22nd at the Glacier Canyon Conference Center at Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.
At the event, Wisconsin's 30 Pheasants Forever chapters and 8,100 Pheasants Forever members will celebrate wildlife habitat accomplishments from the past year with seminars and an evening fundraiser. The day-long event will feature seminars and is open to the public from 1PM to 4PM geared toward landowners, conservationists and hunters interested in improving wildlife habitat on their land, training dogs, and getting the next generation into the outdoors.
Following the day's seminars, the Wisconsin Pheasants Forever state banquet will begin at 5PM for an evening of food, raffles, auctions, camaraderie and fun! Howard Vincent, Pheasants Forever National President and CEO, will deliver the event's keynote address. Tickets are still available for the event and can be ordered by calling (608) 798-2466.
"When it comes to upland bird conservation, nobody puts habitat on the ground like Pheasants Forever and our partners, and this event gives participants a chance to learn how to apply land stewardship to their own properties," said Kevin Wallenfang, Pheasants Forever's Regional Wildlife Biologist in Wisconsin, "It's an opportunity for folks to learn about the great work that Pheasants Forever is responsible for in this state, and to learn how they can apply practices to their own land."
