Drawing to be Held for Women's Wild Pheasant Hunt at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area

Ten permits will be issued for a special women's pheasant hunt scheduled Dec. 4 at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area in Solano County, southwest of Fairfield.
To be eligible, applicants must have successfully completed a hunter education course and possess a valid 2010-11 California Hunting License and a valid upland game bird stamp at the time of application. The application deadline is Nov. 9. Each drawn applicant may bring one hunting or non-hunting partner. All participants must wear shooting safety glasses and blaze orange clothing.
