Join the Metro Area Pheasants Forever Chapter at their Metro Pheasant Forever Jamboree this Wednesday August 11th at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club in Prior Lake.
We have a great event planned with clay shooting, pig roast, Raffles, Auctions, Guest speaker Ron Schara, gun reps coming from Benelli, Stoeger, Browning, Winchester and Savage (shoot one of the new models), Gun Smiths and Exhibitors like Cabelas, Gander Mtn, Joe's, Reed's, Pro Power Sports, Apple Valley Ford, Wolff Animal Hospital, TK Taxidermy, Holzinger Kennels, US Bank, Fulton, Marshal Minnesota Chamber of Commerce, 5 Hunting Ranches from the Dakota's and more....

About the Jamboree
The Metro Area Chapter of Pheasants Forever has decided to break out of the mold and add some flavor to the traditional "banquet." We strategically selected the date and location to provide our members and their guests with an afternoon and evening filled with events dedicated to raising money for pheasant conservation and habitat restoration. Shooting events will be available and exhibitors will be present from several major firearm manufacturers as well as Reed's Sporting Goods and Cabela's.
The 2010 Metro Area Pheasant Jamboree will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club in Prior Lake. Here is a tentative schedule:
- 1:30PM to 4:30PM -- Trap/Clay Target Shooting Games w/ Prizes Awarded (Advance Registration and Add'l Payment Required)
- 3:00 PM -- Metro Area Pheasant Jamboree Opens (Exhibits and Seminars available)
- 5:00 PM -- Dinner is Served! (Whole roasted hog, baked beans, coleslaw, and corn-on-the-cob)
- 5:30 PM -- Speakers, Raffle Drawings, Live Auction (Several guns, trips, and other major prizes to be raffled/auctioned off!)
- 7:30 PM -- Dinner Ends
- 8:30 PM -- Exhibits and Seminars End
- 9:00 PM -- Bar Closes
- 9:30 PM -- Metro Area Pheasant Jamboree Closes

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. We are still in need of volunteers for the banquet. If you are interested and available, please feel out this Form and check the "Festival Volunteer" box. There are several opportunities for you to get involved in helping improve Minnesota's pheasant habitat.
