Bird Dog Parade Wags into Nebraska on January 28th - Jan. 12, 2011
A parade of nearly 40 sporting dog breeds will open Pheasants Forever's National Pheasant Fest 2011 at Omaha's Qwest Center on Friday, January 28th. Nebraska outdoor personality Greg Wagner will serve as Grand Marshal of the National Pheasant Fest Bird Dog Parade.

IDNR Extends Controlled Pheasant Hunting at Five Sites - Jan. 05, 2011
SPRINGFIELD, IL - The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) today announced that the controlled pheasant hunting seasons have been extended at Kankakee River State Park in Kankakee County, Sand Ridge State Forest in Mason County, Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife Area in Cass County, Eldon Hazlet State Recreation Area in Clinton County and Wayne Fitzgerrell State Recreation Area in Franklin and Jefferson counties.

Pheasant/Quail Stocking Cancelled for Tuesday, December 28 - Dec. 27, 2010
Due to inclement weather and in the interest of public safety, the NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife advises hunters that pheasant and quail stocking slated for Tuesday, December 28, has been cancelled statewide. Birds scheduled for release on that day will be added to Thursday?s stocking allotment and distributed as originally intended.
