Sky line hatch?

So, I guess it's spring because the rivers are still up even though its July. Any reports about areas of bad winter kills or poor production?
I asked the state biologist about that area and in general he said based on their crow counts the numbers seem better than the long term average but worse than last year. Nests along water ways and lakes may have gotten flooded out but the upland birds may have had good success. Lots of growth for them to run and hide in.

I bet there's going to be more cover then we've ever seen. One thing, the waters been high and lowlands flooded probably before nesting, so maybe most of the nesting was on higher ground.

mnmthunting, Is it me or did you just say the exact same thing I did but took 5 more words to do it? The question about areas of micro climate winter kills remains unanswered.
The web cam at the Glendive Bridge is a good one to watch the water heights of the river. Hasn't dropped at all since ice out that I can tell.
