Hunting question Volga/Huron areas
I am fortunate enough to have business trips planned to the Volga and Huron areas in November and December. I am able to drive there from Nebraska and am planning on bringing my pup, Hazel.
I am curious how hard it will be to hunt solo. I will have afternoons to hunt and don't have access, yet, to private lands. Any suggestions on what to do for hunting areas if I have to go public? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Setterguy,
If you're willing to pay $50 per day, you can give this guy a call. He has some quarter-sections northwest and northeast of Huron he'll let you hunt for the trespass fee. Pretty good bird numbers too. (605)352-7077 Ask for Harold.
