Slippery slope to more bans and taking away our rights as citizens. While some may disagree on the high-fence issue, this can be viewed as infringement on property rights and more government control.

Shooting in a barrel is still shooting in a barrel, doesn't matter how big the barrel is, or the game. If there's a property rights concern then perhaps they should look at the legality/ethics (you pic) of caging wild animals for slaughter. What ever happened to fair chase?
It's really the people who push the limits who are creating more limits. |

I think you took at as to I disagree with the ban. That is not the case and yes there is the whole disease thing, fair chase, ethics, etc.
Quite frankly, I usually steer clear of this issue since high fence hunting strikes a nerve nationally and locally with a lot of people. Different strokes for different folks. I just wouldn't be very happy if I was the guy that put up miles of fence and then was shut down. Worth noting, but your points are well taken. |
