Default Turbotville = South Dakota !

Well maybe not quite, but it was still a great day! We did another Flushing survey today in Turbotville Pa., and all I can say is WOW! One farm had over 80 WILD pheasants flushed, the farm we did had over 20 and we didn't cover the whole farm. There was a lot of apprehension because of some bad winters and a horrible spring, needless to say those fears were laid to rest!

I'll report more details as they come in! A GREAT day!

He is a Springer, but no he is not a pointing one. He had gotten some scent, and that is just the way the camera caught him!

Now just admit it FLDBRED, deep down you and your dog want to be part of the pointer crowd.

Starting to get some more results, it looks like over 150 wild pheasants have been flushed on the farms surveyed so far!

These are not the farms of the Mid-West that consist of thousands of acres, more like a few hundred acres apiece, so you can see why we are excited!

These birds are getting ready to mate soon... it's a darn good feeling!

It's welcome news, we can all use a positive result in a bleak national forecast. Good Luck, may it continue.
