Trouble is unless I'm mistaken in SD road hunting is legal. I believe it was last year they were raising all kinds of heck because the state wanted to mandate using non-toxic shot in the ditches. People fought it and it failed. Road hunting is a way of live up there. When they outlaw it, then you can begin to talk about wether its wrong. Now, ethical hunters just have to suck it up.
In KS to be legal you have to have permission of land owners on both sides of the road to to shoot from the road; as in pass shooting snows or geese as they pass over. Totally illega to shoot from a truck.

Yes it is, but there are still rules about what is legal and what is not--niether of the things I posted were legal and were totally unethical.

Kansas law has changed and now a hunter needs permission from the adjacent landowner only on the side of the road s/he is hunting. Of course, if it's both sides, both landowners' permissions are required.
