Heading to Jamestown area this weekend.

Any birds. This will be our first trip to Jamestown area to hunt. Ducks in AM and Phez in PM. 4 guns, 3 dogs. We went to western ND earlier and did ok. Thanks.

Look online at precipitation maps and avoid the areas that had a ton of rain in May/June/July. That is what we did and found more birds.

This website is a great tool. We found significantly more birds in areas with less rain during the hatch.

Yes, it seemed that bird numbers were down about 50% plus where we hunted second week of season.
