Hi! I am not sure if I ever responded to your August message asking about hail in the Hill City area. All I know is they got hail but I am not sure what the path was. In general, I think things look pretty good north of I-70 out there. KDWPT has a "biomass" map that I looked at for the first time today. Graham and Sheridan Co. look pretty good. SW is very bad. There is some new walk-in along US 24 just 2 - 3 miles west of HC on the south side. There is a good milo crop along the road (and one on the north side walk-in too that has been there for some years), some fair grass and fair to poor stubble, and some great fence row. The land extends from the highway down to the bottom and to the river in some spots. Some cattle.
