Phil, I don't know anything about the gun in question. 28 gauges do run a little higher than other guns due to the demand for a gun in short supply. For a few hundred more you can get a nice O/U. I got a new 28gauge 1100 remington for just over 800

Just saw your note on my page. Pls do plan to come out to KS next season. Let me know as far in advance as you can when you'll come and I'll do my best to leave a day of your visit open. I don't have the greatest access in KS, it is all farm land, none managed for pheasants. We still manage to put a few on the ground every year.
