    Phil V. I was asking about lab/GSP crosses (Wesslpointers). By the looks of it they are pointing dogs not flushing dogs. I was thinking maybe they could be trained to only flush or only point.

    I was rereading your choice of dog and seen your question about gsp's being able to be trained to flush,well they can. Had one that was a dump in the mid 70's and she was trained to point would flush on command with phez,then she would flush quail all the time and rabbit part of the time.
