Hunting report 12/17/11

Last grouse hunt for the season. Left early and headed to state forest just out side of State College prospecting some leads I got from the district forester. All the clear cuts we hunted were just too thick for my flushing spaniels to effectively hunt. I bet those dogs got a good workout. And you too!
Did you see any of the birds that flushed or just hear them? It does look thick in those pictures.

That would be some tuff shooting for sure! I plan on getting up to grouse camp soon, the grouse hunting gets better 'food sources' for the next couple of weeks, we also ran into some pheasant during deer week!
