JS, what season opens and what you going after.

I've hunted WY for many years, very rough country for Mulies and sometimes elk. Lopes were in much easier country.
Not this year though. Where I hunted the deer season ran for 8 days opening on the 15th of Oct.

JS, You know I don't think I'll make to Wyoming this year. Maybe in late Dec. for goose hunting.???

I've seen birds over by Devils Tower while hunting deer. Surprising, since there was not much cover ideal for raising pheasants.

I Know there is a place that raises pheasants for put and take around that area. It's closer to Hulet Wyoming. Maybe you saw some escapies???

CRP how many turkeys you see up there??? The last time I was up there turkeys everywhere.:)

I hunted Wyoming last year with 4 dogs and a 14 year old boy on his first grouse hunt. We limited out on Sage grouse, shaptails and blue grouse. Over-all a great trip.

Well, I was referring to opener of pheasants today of course. 1st Sat. in November evry year. I am hoping to get into WYO for a rooster chase in early Dec. I also want to go to the kennel where I bought Grace and start looking at the sires and dames for next year. Maybe a July puppy pick up?
