Weekend trips to Eastern CO

I generally try to get to the eastern part of Coloroda at least one day per weekend. I live in Castle Rock, CO, and I welcome anyone to join me, as it is just me and my dog. That is if you don't mind hunting with a young dog (11 months).

Hey Berkleygsp,
I am new to the forum but wanting to get some info for hunting down around Lamar Nov. 11 thru 17, 2011. I have never hunted pheasants before as I come from Arizona. Live in Bayfield, Co now. Can you enlighten me about hunting these birds by myself without a dog? I plan on knocking on doors and using the walkin areas provided by the DOW. Thanks, :)

I am new to hunting and have been going alone as well, but without my dogs as they are not really hunting dogs. If you are interested in joining up to flush more, let me know.
