Winchester AA Rebate ***RIPOFF***

Anyone else had issues with this rebate? They offered $2/box on AA loads a couple months ago - I bought 40 boxes (these are the loads I use on sporting clays), did the paperwork and sent in for the rebate. They require the usual 6-8 weeks for processing.

9 weeks later, I call Winchester, they call the folks that are managing the rebate program, those folks tell Winchester that I didn't include the cash register receipt :confused: - which is BULLS**T!!!

I'm being told my rebate of $80 is being rejected. :mad::mad::mad:

I know for a FACT I did everything to the letter on this deal and included ALL the necessary paperwork. They owe me $80.

Anyone else having trouble?

I may be able to get the shop to give me copies, but the rebate clearly states that "Original Cash Register Receipt" is required and that duplicate receipts will not be accepted.

What REALLY burns me up is that they sent my submission back to me with a rejection letter stating that the receipts were missing. I STAPLED them to the submission form and it's clear as day that they were torn off. :mad:

I want the rebate I'm entitled to. I did everything right and by the book - Winchester needs to do the right thing by me, no excuses.

Hate to tell you this but rebate programs are set up in a manner to get you if you don't make copies of everything you send in. I have experienced this many times before. You might consider filing a complaint with the BBB in that state against them. I have done that before and it worked. Good luck
