going phez hunting in ohio in the morning.got into 2 covey of quail on the farm yesterday, surrogator seems to have helped, looked like 30 birds in each flush. we only took 3 out of the flushes then 2 singles. we wont bother them again till last day.

jmac- I heard #'s are down on the Bighorn. Suprises me a bit. I'm still leaving the 9th of Dec. to walk, and walk, and walk! Low #'s never scared me.

Sorry been working on a job, that wont go away. Not are fault.


My brother said that he got two rooster, and had to walk for ever to get them. That would be the ucross / clear creek areas of Johnson county.

Had good reports from the torringon areas. Glendo area might be the best area, b/c they have been releasing them for years. I dont know for shure, but that what I am told.

Im hope I can get up to Wyoming the last part of november to kill some geese and a few ducks . Work has screwed my pheasant hunting plans for this year. :)
