Hi everybody, I too am from the land of no more (or at least hard to come by) grouse. I get my local fix for pheasants in lower PA. They're release birds but better than nothing. My buds and I come out west each year. We do our research and then guide ourselves. So far, we've hunted in KS, ND, and IA. Took this year off due to the unexpected death of my GWP to cancer. I have a deposit on a new pup, so I hope to be training this summer.

Welcome to UPH, Is the new pup another GWP? I assume so from your post. I am sorry for your loss, I dread the day when that hits me. Tony my Brit. Is 10 and we have something I feel as special. But to many it would just be the typical loving dog and master......Bob

Sorry, seems I left that out. I'm getting a Vizsla this time. Yeah, I know what you mean. I really miss him, but I think I miss having a dog even more.
