View Full Version : Northern Tripp Co. conditions/reports?
Wondering if anyone has hunted this area lately? If so how were the bird numbers etc? I know the crops are behind, but it does not sound like it has been AS wet as other parts of the state.
Any info from locals or recent visitors appreciated. Heading to the area Nov 10.

Just back from Tripp County. Hunted 5 days, 11/10-11/14. Had a great time hunting with my Dad, Brother and 3 close friends. Crops are behind, but steadily coming out. Milo and sunflowers making most progress. Still a lot of corn up in the area. Showered most of Friday night, so not much activity witnessed Sat. Habitat in general is excellent. The rain has all ponds full. Bird numbers seem strong also. Hunted 3 different farms in different parts of the county. Excellent hunting at all locations.

I know a few faces on these pics. I grew up in Tripp County. Winner, SD area.
