My wife grew up in the Mankato area...and I grew up about 30 miles west of Sioux Falls!

That close-up photo is exactly the evidence I needed to prove why I shoot pheasants in self-defense and believe it is "us vs. them".....
Did you see that look in his eye? Can you say "level playing field"?

The rooster probably took out those feathers on the hen when she approached the food. :(
