A1 Al's consists of over 4500 acres of "prime" pheasant habitat dedicated to providing you the best in exclusively guided South Dakota wild pheasant hunts. We are located near Emery, SD (about 45 minutes west of Sioux Falls, SD or 25 minutes east of Mitchell, SD), where we offer a diverse array of pheasant hunting opportunities. The hunting will be concentrated on a variety of CRP, native prairie land, food plots, corn, sorghum, sloughs, and shelter belts. This habitat creates a plush environment for Ringneck Pheasants as well as excellent shooting conditions for even the most experienced wing-shooter. Our friendly professional guides will strategically position you in the mist of multiple flushes of wild South Dakota roosters; it's up to you to shoot straight and put them ringnecks down! ACCOMMODATIONS:
All packages include lodging, meals, transportation, and an exciting professionally guided pheasant hunt. We accommodate private and corporate parties of non-resident and resident hunters, all sizes of groups are welcome. All hunts include the expertise of our professionally trained hunting dogs; and, at A1 Al's, your dogs are welcome to come and hunt, too. Kennels are available for guest hunting dogs. Also, to warm up before the hunt, you can get the rust out of the barrels by shooting some sporting clays before you hit the fields. Our hunting guests will be staying at a nice farm house lodge. Lodging accommodations include a recreation room, full kitchen (where you can cook for yourselves or we will prepare a meal for you, depending on your preferences), washer and dryer, satellite TV - basically all of the comforts of home where you can relax and have a great time.
TRANSPORTATION & TRAVEL:
Courtesy airport pick-up and drop-off is provided for all of our guests arriving by air. On the days of the hunt, we will provide transportation to take you to the field and bring you back to the lodge. For our guests without their own vehicle or rental car, we will be glad to assist in making arrangements to accommodate your transportation needs.
For our guests that will be arriving by commercial air travel, we suggest that you fly into Sioux Falls, SD. The Sioux Falls airport has four commercial airline services available: Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, and Delta Airlines. Rental vehicles are available at the airport.
For our guests that will be arriving by private airplane, we suggest that you fly into Mitchell or Sioux Falls, SD. A1 Al's can also make arrangements to provide private air travel service to and from Sioux Falls, SD for our guests.
PHEASANT HUNTING PACKAGES:
A1 Al's offers South Dakota pheasant hunting from September 1st to March 31st with the following hunting packages available:
12 GAUGE - 5 Days/6 Nights $2500.00 + tax
16 GAUGE - 4 Days/5 Nights $2000.00 + tax
20 GAUGE - 3 Days/4 Nights $1500.00 + tax
28 GAUGE - 2 Days/3 Nights $1100.00 + tax
Non-shooting guests $150.00 (per day) + tax
All rates and additional fees are subject to 5% SD sales tax
All Packages Include:
3 Pheasants per day (Hunters can shoot extra pheasants for an additional fee per
bird)

RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSITS:
A 50% deposit is required at booking in order to secure a reservation, with the remaining balance due upon arrival. Deposits are non-refundable for any reason, but if you need to reschedule, we will gladly apply your deposit toward your rescheduled hunting package on another available date. The total deposit cannot be applied towards the final payment when the group size or number of days hunted is reduced. Deposits can be made in the form of check, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover).
SAFETY & LICENSE INFORMATION:
In order for us to provide you with an exceptional hunt, it's essential that a safe hunting environment is maintained. A complete safety speech and check is conducted prior to every hunt to ensure that we have a safe hunt and that everyone is aware of the state laws and regulations that apply to pheasant hunting. A1 Al's reserves the right to terminate any hunt in which the rules and regulations are not followed.
