Booking A Pheasant Hunt

If your looking to hunt pheasants in ANY state, this form will help you save time in your search. Helpful Booking Tips

The more detailed you are in our booking form, the better the chance booking a hunt with what you are looking for. If you convey to us what you want, we can find it. So be as detailed as you can in the form. If your not sure, that's ok, just put your phone number below and we can talk to you over the phone about some of your different options. State and Season Tips

• You will pay a premium to hunt the pheasant opener in states like South Dakota and there will be limited availablity because of repeat year after year bookings.
• If you really want to hunt the opener, state in the comments that you are willing to pay extra.
• Midwest pheasant hunts often have great late season discounts. If you haven't been hunting in the snow and cold weather, it's often some of the best hunting because the birds are more wild and have been shot at all year.
• The Ultimate Pheasant Hunting staff are big fans of late season hunting.

Hunting, Rates and Package Tips

• States like South Dakota have outfitters that have wild birds and preserve. It's a great option if you want to shoot 3 wild birds a day and hunt preserve for more shooting for some people who want to shoot 3-25 pheasants a day.
• A 3 day/4 night is a excellent package and satisfies most pheasant hunters we have found.
• We often recommend for people who don't know wether they want to hunt Public vs. an Outfitter to try some public hunting so you can get a basis of comparison.
• Let us know what type of hunter you are. Do you want to shoot a lot of birds? Or do you want to hunt all day and work very hard to get your limit with your dog?

Group Size and Budget

• If you are a small group (1-6), would you consider joining another group? Please state that in the comments if its a definite either way.
• Do it yourself hunts will often cost more than you think. In the cost of the hunt, factor in lodging, food, gas, and other ammenities.
• Just because places like South Dakota have high populations of pheasants, doesn't mean that everywhere you hunt will have birds.
• Public land gets pounded all season and residents get to hunt a week before non-residents.

Lodging and Food

• If you want lodging that has 2 beds/1 bath per room, the cost will be higher. If you have a preference, please let us know and we can give you some different options.
