South Dakota Governor's Hunt Set for This Weekend

South Dakota's Invitational Governor's Hunt is set to take place this weekend in central South Dakota. The Governor's hunt, based out of Pierre, SD has been an annual event since the early 80's when it was resurrected by Governor Bill Janklow as an economic development effort to bring in business leaders interested in relocating their company to South Dakota.

The Heartland Region Chapter of Pheasants Forever will host its 1st Annual Dakota Women of the Outdoors Pheasant Hunt on Saturday, November 3rd, near Huron, South Dakota. The event, limited to 30 spots, is open to women age 12 and older with a valid small game license. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
